Super Easy Fabric Flower Tutorial

This is a super easy and super fast fabric flower to make and use up some fabric scraps. I actually made this from fabric I used making this dress

I made 6 petals shaped like shown in the picture, but you can make them round or scalloped or however you want to. Each petal has a front and back. I used 2 coordinating fabrics.

Place them with wrong sides together. Stitch around the perimeter and then pink the edges. You may get some fraying, so you can use an anti fray product if that will bother you.

Then fold up one end of each petal as shown below.

Make about 3 long stitches across the bottom of each petal, stringing them together.

Pull up the thread from both sides and gather the petals tightly. Tie thread securely.

Wrap a small amount of fabric around a bead. Wrap thread around it to hold it securely. I made 3 of these. Cut off excess fabric.

Glue these to the center of your flower. Then glue a felt circle on the back and you're done! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
